AMPED Music Project is a Dunedin-based youth mentoring project which organizes a series of all-ages gigs and workshops led by skilled facilitators. The Project aims to help young musicians gain valuable experience in the music industry while promoting alcohol harm reduction.
Amped gigs provide an alcohol free environment for young people to enjoy music by their peers. In 2015 the project includes students from Logan Park High School, Otago Boys High School, John McGlashan College, Otago Girls' High School, St Hilda's Collegiate, Taieri College, Kavanagh College.
The Amped Music Project is produced by the Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust
